New Website For Nicky Gentle Bookkeeping
Nicky is based in Green Park, Reading, and offers bookkeeping and payroll services to clients in the Berkshire area. We successfully launched a new WordPress website for her this week, rebuilding her existing website to modernise the look and feel, as well as making it easier for her to manage and add / edit content in the future.
Nicky already had a great ranking on Google and her old website had been online some time, however the website was not mobile friendly and wasn’t easy for her to update. We took the existing page structure and content and built a new responsive WordPress website for her, which kept the same look and feel, colour scheme and pages but refreshing the design.
These days it’s more important than ever to make sure your website is mobile friendly (responsive) as depending on your industry, up to 90% of your visitors may be trying to use your website on their mobiles. If your website doesn’t load properly or is difficult to use on mobile then these potential customers could go elsewhere.
We use WordPress as the CMS for the vast majority of our websites as it is a cost effective way to get online quickly and to be able to manage your own content. There is probably no greater CMS than WordPress for adding and updating your own content – WordPress makes it easy to keep a blog, add regular news and to link your pages and blog categories together.
WordPress is also a great tool to manage and improve your SEO (search engine optimisation) as you can set up a variety of SEO rules from the outset which the system follows for you as you add new content and images to your website.
