Bespoke Portfolio Website For Property Illustrator

WordPress is a great tool for building a responsive portfolio website

We recently launched a responsive portfolio website for Property Illustration

Property Illustration, based in Reading, Berkshire, has been providing floor plan illustrations to property marketing companies for nearly two decades. They create a wide variety of plans, illustrations, maps and diagrams for property marketing agencies and development companies in the UK and abroad. The plans and maps etc are used to show off the new developments to potential buyers.

Using WordPress, we built a responsive portfolio website that shows off the wide range of illustrations and diagrams the client has put together over the years. For instant impact, we built a grid of his preferred illustrations on the home page to welcome visitors with an immediate view of his work. These have subtle hover effects and an alternating colour system for maximum impact.

The client can log into the powerful WordPress CMS to add new case studies and illustrations as needed, which will filter through the various aspects of the site.

We went with a slightly unorthodox layout to give maximum impact to the illustrations on the website, with what would normally be in the website header instead discretely to the side. This allows the illustrations and diagrams to take centre stage in the preferred square grid format.

The website is fully responsive (mobile friendly), with similar layouts on mobile and tablet to the desktop version, apart from the fact there are a reduced amount of the illustrations in the home page grid.

Visitors to the website can get in touch with them directly using the contact form.

We also provided the logo design as part of the package, replacing the existing logo and giving it a more modern and contemporary look.
